When you check in, you get concierge-level service, which gives it an upscale hotel feel with a masculine vibe that doesn’t go over the top. It was much quieter than I expected for a grooming salon and it set the tone before my husband headed in for his first treatment.

For the first treatment, my husband sat down for a premium head shave.
Every station has a TV and noise-canceling headphones to help your soul enter airplane mode.
The premium head shave included a facial where they used a combination of cleansing, exfoliation, and hydration techniques to make his skin feel silky smooth. The facial massage almost put him to sleep, and the essential-oil-infused towels completed the relaxation.
I watched as they took their time to ensure he got a quality shave as well as some quality chill time. The treatment took just around an hour and my husband enjoyed every minute of it.
Tea Tree Pedicure: A Surprisingly Essential Upgrade
Confession time. My husband has never had a professional pedicure. He had no idea what to expect and being the dutiful partner I am, I didn’t tell him what awaited him. He walked into this blind, but he walked out on cloud nine.

The process starts with a foot soak in warm water and essential tea tree oils. For the Essential Tea Tree pedicure, you also receive a sugar scrub, a reviving foot and calf massage, callus resurfacing, restorative nail care, warm paraffin, and a hot towel wrap.
The paraffin treatment was when the ‘I get it now’ moment happened. He realized foot care was more than just trimming his toenails. It was something that could level up your mental state.
Overall Experience & Who This Is Best For
The only comparison point we have to Hammer & Nails is when my husband had a head and face shave on the Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Treasure at “Hooks Barbery.” Looking past the price (Hammer & Nails wins in a landslide), Hammer & Nails was a nicer experience and he got twice the treatment for the same price.
While my husband was getting his treatments, I was looking around and I saw a nice range of demographics. Traditionally, this might not be something some men will book for themselves, but once they’ve had a taste, they won’t hesitate to go back.
Is Hammer and Nails Worth It? Honest Take
Is Hammer & Nails worth the cost? In today’s world, where stress is taking up so much space in our lives, it might as well be paying rent; yes, it’s worth it.
Hammer & Nails takes what is normally considered good hygiene and makes it an experience to elevate the mind and soul.
You don’t come here for a haircut and leave. You come here to relax and put your mind on “do not disturb” for a bit.
As far as pricing goes, I think it’s extremely fair; however, membership is the way to go if you plan to make this a monthly or bi-monthly thing. Memberships start as low as $88 for two classic services per month and go up to $549 per month for unlimited visits (with a few bonus features thrown your way).
Something that I found neat was that all memberships allow you to gift your credits to friends, family, or clients and unused credits roll over.
